It just doesn't make sense to me
To cut a long story short, bought a manual(on cd) for an SV which was supposed to cover both faired and unfaired. cd arrived and turns out, it only covers the faired model.
Seller was then made aware and is asked to either send a cd containing both models as advertised or to give a refund.
He then replied saying the cd does indeed cover both..a load of rubbish of course. I responded, stating the obvious again and giving him 48 hours to let me know what he has decided to do.
No reply and so I put in a complaint to paypal. Whilst waiting for his reply to that, it turns out he is no longer a registered user on Ebay. That I find very strange as he has got a feedback score of 99.4% from 3106 feedbacks. Surely he hasn't done that because of a grand total of £2.99. Seeing that, there was no point waiting for him so now put in a claim under paypals "buyer protection" scheme.
Anyway logged onto paypal today where he has made an offer of a partial refund of 10p and claiming I never got in contact with him regarding the issue. I have of course refused the offer and so have to wait and see what paypal decides.
It's not the money as it's £2.99 we are talking about here but just a matter of not letting some idiot keep taking the pish which he has obviously got used to doing.
Bizarre that he'll close down an account with all that amount of feedback because he doesn't want to do a refund on £2.99.
Very very strange to be. Anyone see the logic in his actions as I'm struggling here..
Ben
ps: Ebay ID was manuals-4-u
