Hello everyone, I am saying a quick hello as i have just joined the forum as i have decided that an sv 650 is the bike for me whilst in this country.

I have just moved to England from Australia and had to sell my beloved R6 before i left. But that doesn't mean i'm going to be riding the tube the rest of my life here!

a little about myself? i have been riding since i was 10, (thanks Dad) and most comfortable on a bike where i am lying along the tank. I'm living in Camden in London, but once i get some wheels, and a sat nav, i'm going everywhere it is possible to go!

On a bike is the best way to see a country. The only way to get around Australia, and so much more fun than any other form of transport!

Now the only thing to do is find the bike, and some gear that takes into account breasts and hips!

And get yourself down to Soho on a Friday!

Hi, and welcome to the fold. Check out the "Soho Massive" section for London members.

I'm sure one of the other girls can offer advice on where to pick up decent female bike gear.

Hi There, nice to see another Antipodean in the fold. Check out the for sale section and ebay is your friend for getting some cheap kit to get you on the road. You'll find it a little hard laying on the tank in the traffic in London so you may want to consider a naked ;) J/K - there are plenty of nice roads outside of London and even more across the channel. Welcome to the .org - the friendliest (and most addictive) biker site online.

In one respect, this guy is correct - yellow curvy's are the fasest

However, top boxes arnt banned, I have one fitted to my bike :D and they still let me post  Although I have lost some respect :( (wait...did I have any?!)

But I dont care, my SV is mega user freindly, I can carry most things without the need to carry a large, back breaking rucksack :D

Welcome to the site, and be carefull in london - the cab drivers have their own rules and pedestrians are suicidal!

hiya, enjoy your stay

kit is easy to get for girlies depending on size of hips and tits (and now this is not a reason to ask for photos) smaller the size the bigger selection or maybe thats cos im of the larger variety that I dont seem to be able to find anything lol

Sydneys great. I lived in Canberra for 18 months and had a SV over there. Fantastic memories of no traffic, great roads and almost always sunny weather. *sigh* Were you part of GRO? I did a couple of the Canberra groups rideouts which were fun. :D

Welcome. See you in Soho sometime. Ill be in the Honda Appreciation Society section, CBF subsection.

hahah yes, long time member of the sydney chapter of gro. great bunch of girls, and as always a whinging bunch of guys! but good fun all the same.

its an interesting transition in terms of traffic rules and regulations here. filtering is legal! amongst other fun things.
