I know for one going at my current employeer.
4 Months helpdesk cover, not a permant position though. But and I stress but, the way things are here, this might change, but dont get your hopes up.
Windows 2000 / Windows XP Skills a must, I mean proper hardcore experience not a Microsoft bit of paper.
AD knowledge essential as well
PC / Hardware Troubleshooting experience is a must to.
Good Telephone manner plus a discplined approach to working ( logging calls, being organised etc etc )
Also useful would be
Experience with Altirs ( desktop managment )
Exchange 2003
