I'm guessing that they only come un-painted/sprayed as per pics, and not in black by any chance?! Would look gorgeous on my all black curvy but afraid that silver will stand out somewhat.

Sorry they are just fresh off the CNC lathe. Would stick out like a sore thumb on an all black. They look great on the silver ally frame ones.

Did you buy from me? What's you ebay handle? Anyway yeh they look great I just got my 02 curvey and I just can't get the trottle side end off to replace it's really stuck on there and the phillips screw is getting bad.
I don't want to hack saw the old ones off I'd like to keep them.

I had this with mine. Find a drill bit and drill the head of the screw off. This will allow the bar end to come off leaving the remainder of the screw visible. Take one pair of pliers/mole grips and unscrew the screw. Roberts your mothers brother!

Do you have to keep the rubber bit inside? Cos my bar ends are a bit naff but the rubber bit inside is also perished and it's not keeping them wedged in enough.

I'm afraid so. The naked version doesn't have a solid end with a tapped thread as the faired version does. You could probably replace the rubber bungs though. Anyway I would have to supply you with a longer screw to go through that and the nut at the end.

Yes I can, did you buy these for a naked SV? If so then you will have the type with the rubber bung and nut yeh? You need a 60mm long bolt which I can send you.

Is it a curvy or a pointy? I think the ones in the photo have a 40mm lonng bolt and my curvy has a solid bar with the thread at the very end. Tell me what length you need and I'll get them in the post straight away.

Sorry new to this so not really knowing whether curvy or pointy
When I took them off the phillips screw it was long and the thread was at the very end.
Does it help if I said it is a new Sk6 :D
Sorry for being a numpty

That's strange so the bolts won't even engage the thread?? I will send so longer ones in the post straight away.
By-the-way, curvy is '99-'02 and pointy in '03-'07, on the top of this page curvy is the one on the left, just like mine..... yes curvies rule :D
