All this one needs is a pen sized hydraylic lift at the back so you can flip the plate up quickly in times of need. I mean the pivots already there. (yes I mean when you're going on a track day and want to reduce the drag officer ;) ) Ok, mabey highly illegal, but would be soo cool! :smt077

Great for hiding the plate from cameras but too noticeable to the cops in the car following you ie giving them more of a reason to stop you.

EEEEaaaassy! Pneumatic is easier, but I must admit that for super simplicity, I'd side with Northy here (I'm guesing) and use a solenoid (Central locking?).

On the other hand, you all know that I'd just not speed or whatever.;)

Cheers,

Garry:cool:

Eh? Oh, you've got a long memory :) No, wasn't for that at all, I was looking at automating the seat lock so I could smooth the rear panel and so that I would never again put the back end back together and forget to reconnect the seat cable.
