Hi all dont know if there is any interest but thought I would let you know how I did at Pembrey in my second and third ever race.

Saturday was a big learning curve in many ways track very flat and tricky to learn, managed a qualifying position of 3rd, took 2nd in the race and promptly crashed out, front end washed away from me so learning the track at close quarters  still 4 hrs later bike fixed and up for Sunday

qualified 3rd and ended 3rd well chuffed seeing as though the crash etc happened the day before.

The funniest race I had was in the newcomers open now that was a scream, it was open cc so 999's gsxr 1000 600's etc ended 13th out of 38 which was cool, but to be passed by the big bikes then to re take them was funny who sais an SV650 is slow, go see the results table for a list of the other bikes in the race. http://www.ngroadracing.org/results_data_07/pembrey_apr22/open_newcomers.php

here are some pics for ya too

Congratulations! Shame about crashing out whilst in second, but you live and learn - just don't become a regular Sete Gibernau :p

If your doing this well at a track your not familier with, what about the places you are familier with?

Keep it up, and keep us posted

Matt
