£950 (or even £600) for a load of knackered tyres ... this guy has to be having a laugh right??? ... perhaps he got the decimal place mixed up?!?! :lol:

Lol, that's a bit too harsh!! ;)
I buy my tyres 2nd hand ... but I do this as 2nd hand tyres are pretty worthless ... I wouldn't pay more than £30 for a partworn set (aim for nearer £20) ... even at £600, thats about £60 a pair ... and most of his were mismatches!! ;)
Ok, so you can make 8? usable pairs out of that lot ... so to me I wouldn't pay more than £200 for a job-lot ...
