Has anyone got an Arai Viper GT freedom?

what do you think of it? marks out of 10?

Mr Arai himself used to wear an Astro J. When asked why he didn't wear a Corsair he said "The Corsair is a racing helmet, The Astro J is a road helmet. I don't race, so I don't need to wear a racing helmet."

Corsairs are no safer, but they are a damn sight noisier than the upper range road helmets due to the extra vents and scoops.

I've got the GT web design,
i'd say 8/10 for comfort
9/10: for ventilation (nice on hot days)
They are quiet noisey i think, only 6/10 for that!!But i wear plugs anyway to help with that!!
Quality: well you get what you pay for so it's tops 10/10!!
Weight: you don't know you've got it on 9/10
Price: ooo expensive,, but what does that matter!!!

I love mine all in all,, overall i'd say 8/10 for it.. Don't buy if you have sensitive ears though,,noise level is it's major downfall 8-[

i'd agree on most of this but i actually find my Viper GT a lot quieter than the Quantum F I had before (which seemed pretty noisy even from new). In fact it's probably one of the quietest lids i've owned, plus the Haslam colours look really pretty :smt061

Funnily enough we were talking about this very subject just this afternoon,My brother has the Viper GT and I've had two Astro J's and an R, I'll be looking for another soon, but haven't deciede which yet.

Oh, and Ness's new lid is very nice :thumright:

thats good to know, as i will be going from a
Quantum F to probaly a viper GT............ cos fizzwheel says im not allowed to get a edwards rx7, cos he has one :smt090
