Saw this (http://www.shazam.com/music/portal/sp/s/media-type/html/user/anon/page/default/template/pages/p/what_is_tagging.html) advertised on telly a few days ago - haven't tried it myself yet but it looks you just put your mobile next to the speakers of whatever is playing the song and it'll text you the artist / title.
