He is getting on now - that picture is a couple of years old - he is 11 now, pretty old for a big dog, but apart from a bit of arthritis in his hind quarters he is doing well :)

Will try and dig out a picture from when we first got him, so thin you could see the ridges of his spine and wearing a chain that weighed over 1kg! :o

My old Springer once scared the cr*p out of a dustman, chasing him out of the garden, barking her head off. We told him not to run, because she thought he was playing and was therefore chasing him. To which he said "I going to report this vicious animal to my boss!!" 2 days later Mr Council Officer turned up, opened the gate, the dog saw him, one woof, walked upto him and promptly rolled on her back ;) "So this is the killer beast" he says :smt003 But as he said, they have to follow up reports, as some dogs have been badly brought up/treated!
