Well you would have changed the title so I thought I'd beat you to it...
IT BACK, my baby is back and on the road
Went to Burrington Coombe tonight with Mac99 (cheers pal) already done one stoopid overtake (thought the oncoming car was a good long way away... It wasn't..!!!) which could have made my first ride my last. Apart from that I was quite sedate and sensible and STILL GRINNING

It's not yours good buddy so lay your mind at rest.. It's no where near as mint as yours. Funny you should mention the baffle. My can had no baffle, I even went as far as to buy an aftermarket baffle, drill the zorst and fit the baffle... When I picked the bike up the guy that owned the garage said "I put that girlie baffle thing under your seat where it belongs...."
Fair play

OUCH! But when you see it close up it's still actually dirty from last July, I never washed it ha haa ;)

Finally.
Nice ride this evening.
Popped in to stretchie's place on the way back from work to confirm that he really had got his bike back on the road. Found the rumours to be true as he wasn't there, he'd nipped out to B&Q to buy some roofing bolts to reattach the fairing! Had to make do with his semi naked flatmate dyeing his hair in the kitchen.
After taking that rather fine shot of the loving union of man and machine, we took a sensible run out to the Castle of Comfort via Winford, Chew Valley lake, Burrington Coombe etc. Back via a slightly different route. I've never actually been on that road from West Harptree to the A37 before, it's really good.
One thing does bother me though, how does a bike pass an MOT without a working rear light?

The MOT gets done at the same place I go to ;)
