Almost so perfect, think they mucked up the rear seat, needs to be lighter/smaller unti.

I do love the Ducati Cafe Racers- but there's something not quite right about that one. The seat, for starters. And the way the fairing joins the tank- too angular.
Now if it was a Sport 1000s, i'd be waxing lyrical, but not for this one...

i can see what ducati was trying to do but i too think it looks a mess.

Yep, PS1000 Sportsclassic LE, I believe.
Paul Smart recently rode the original Imola race bike this is styled on, the "race rep" Supersport 750 (from the same time as the original bike) and this, all back to back. He reckoned this new bike was "better than the rider" in his case! Makes you wonder how many of us need the latest and fastest bikes. :)
I like it, something different to all this pointed lines garbage that bike manufacturers are pushing down everyone's neck at the minute.
