This weekend we went backpacking with the AMWA (Alaskan Malamute Working Association), there were about 30 dogs that were there and we walked about 4 or 5 miles over very hilly terrain and was a great atmosphere. However sleeping in the tent was very chilly and i didn't sleep much on the first night. Lupo was staked outside the tent at night and was as good as gold all weekend.

here are some pics http://www.flickr.com/gp/52837090@N00/j9067G

and a couple of my favourites...

The one of Chunk and Ranger is great, still trying to work out how that contortion is possible.

Lol yeah the amount of times i have seen them all play and wince at some of the positions they get themselves in lol makes my back hurt just watching. Chunk is adorable he is only 4 months old and full of beans.

Thanks, the dogs are amazing, they were so well behaved. We only had one dramatic instance over the weekend where Wookie slipped his collar from his tie out and ran over to another tent to attack Flyn, but was all noise and no damage done.

As for the guy in the park you mentioned, I have to yank on the lead quite a bit at times these dogs are built to pull i have to wear a walking belt just to hold Lupo back otherwise he will pull me over and he's not fully grown yet. I have to be so firm with Lupo otherwise he takes a mile when i give him an inch, but he is learning.

I have a Cannon 400 D, great camera and have a variety of lenses i use too :D

No that's a bump on Ranger's nose :( we thought it was an insect bite but then it just got larger and started to pussed up :( he's on his 3rd course of antibiotics for it and is healing slowly, if it doesn't heal after this set then he will have to ave a biopsy on it.

Lupo has grown huge now at last weigh in he was 37kg! and still growing
