Coming up in the cage from the South yesterday and this message or something similar (cant remember the exact words was displayed on one the electronic boards at the border. Not see that before.

AAh just thought of the answer myself.

It must have been everybody going to the ferry for the NW200 ??. Seems like for once a usefull safety message has been put up on the boards.

There's an electronic safety sign at a junction on the way back from Inverness that often says 'Check your Fuel'.

One problem - what the hell are you gonna do about it? It's about 30 miles from the last petrol station, and apart from the Cluanie Inn who have a pump if you ask nicely (at emergency prices!) , the next one is another 20 miles off.

Great planning required, especially Sundays. Now, how would i know that? :oops:
