Nah, looking at the photographer gives the impression that you are totally in control and checking out the scenery on your bimble round the track.

Done one track day before and the RH Race School
It was awsome. It was a Focused Events "Chequered Flag Day".
The morning you are in groups of 4 or 5 with an instructor with him giving debrief / tips after each session. Afternoon is on your own normal track day.
Yes it was Mallory, my right slider is now nicely scuffed but my left one is still spotless ! :D

I suppose it improves your machine control and so that will improve your road riding. I'm a pretty cautious road rider and see track riding as kind of a different thing.
RH is a good introduction to track riding if your nervous about it, plus you don't have to worry about hurting your own bike or kit. It is a bit pricey though.

I have found that doing trackdays has made my road riding improve loads. I never really realised until I went out riding with a couple of guys I hadn't ridden with for a while (pre-trackdays) they used to leave me for dead and I felt nervous trying to keep up. This time, I had to keep on pulling over and waiting for them to catch up.
Danger of trackdays though is now i'm not really all that keen on going out, riding for fun on the road - it's just not the same. Only answer is to book more trackdays!
And trackday pics.... wear a dark visor! Then no-one knows where the hell you are looking!
Shamless opportunity to post this again!
