i recently took advantage of the tesco's 24 fosters for 9.99.

i dont usually drink fosters, but at that price, its rude not to.

I rather like Carlsberg, and for that price, I'd buy them all! :P

Here in Norway, one can (0,5l) Carlsberg cost around £2 at the store!

where in Norway are you from? You get up to anything exciting on the 17th? £2 sucks! i remember going in to a bar in Oslo and being thrown out for not being 23!

Apparently Asda had some 60 bottles (300 ml) for £20 deal on today.

Unless my easily confused colleague misinterpreted the situation of course. A strong possibility.

My local corner shop does 6 cans for a fiver.

I know it's a rip off, esp. as my local sainsbury's is just another 10 mins walk away....but it's easier than carrying home 24 cans/bottles!

There are times I wish I had a moped with a footwell.

6 cans from your local corner shop and you want a moped.

1) How far away is the damn corner!?!
2) Carrier bag & bungee net not good enough for you?? Works fine for me!
3) A moped? You deserve to be shot!

Live in quite a small place, outside Haugesund.
Cool that you know about the 17th of May, but nah, didn't actually do anything so exciting. Had to get up early in the 18th to go pick up my SV in Oslo (8hour drive).

You should consider yourself lucky to be thrown out, a beer at a bar on Aker Brygge in Oslo is ATLEAST £5. But there are plenty bars and clubs for us under 23 aswell :)

My dads wife is Norwegian so we normally drink gallons of Gløgg! (a bit out of season - but Norwegian all the same ;)) Last year they organized a gathering of everyone Norwegian in Newcastle, who turned up in Bunads (sp?) with flags. Lol. It was such a good turn out of people who'd never met each other :) It even made it in to the newspapers!
