Ah, West Wales. Everyone who has ever described themselves as being from West Wales is from Aberystwyth. :p
Personally, I'm on Anglesey, and Luckypants is Ruthin. There's a fair few more that are down south though.
Close, but actually about 30 miles south of Aberystwyth, but that is the closest place that anyone has ever heard of..!!
Cardigan must be close to 30 miles south west of Aberystwyth ;)
I've also driven through Lampeter a few times. Personally I'd say that was more South Wales, than West Wales :p

The administrative capital of Credigion? If you don't want to admit where you live, no problemo.
Was down in Aber last weekend in my mates new speedy car. Go down there quite a bit as my lil' girl is Uni there.
I live about 7 miles north of Cardigan in a little place called Tanygroes (for anyone in the know please don't mention scrapyard or slaughterhouse....!!!)
I actually did my bike test in Lampeter, great place, not too busy, only had to cope with 3 mini roundabouts...!!

I used to live in Aberporth for about 15 years, only moved to Tanygroes (a grand distance of about 3 miles) 2 years ago.
we used to stay in an old railway carrage on top of a cliff next to michels resterunt
an old womom owed it, i think she owed a few propities as we once stayed in a little cottage she owned
I think i know where you are on about with the old railway carriage, not sure about the restaurant though. How long ago did you last visit? You are a similar age to me I think.

I'm 32, but i only moved to Wales in 1990, so that was a bit before my time here..!!!
There are 2 sides to Aberporth, down the dead end side, by the top of the Cliff, there used to be a restaurant and a pub down there but they have both closed down.

:( thats the side.......:( (edited last post)
good memoreys from there.
i took my dad back about 7 years ago just for the day & ended up having a meal over the other side
You would've been in either The Ship, which is right at the bottom of the Hill by the beach or if you went a bit further up the other side round the bend, you would've been in The Highcliffe. It is a nice place Aberporth, just gets full of tourists...!!!

Put the autosol down now! Hands where I can see them!
Seriously though, don't let a little thing like torrential downpour put you off ;) It's a shame to hide a nice bike like an SV away from the public.
I hate to be a total wuss fair-weather biker but i am. It's so nice and shiny I dont want to get it dirty. Plus i have a very nice car that I dont want to neglect. My SV will be purley for the nice sunny days.
btw, i hate to be dense as well as a wuss but what's autosol?

It's metal polish, Kwak uses it on every metal part of his bike, take a look at some of his photos in the photo section.
Awright Nikkih, welcome aboard :D
