My SV650S (55 plate) is for sale (unfortunately) as I'm moving abroad and didn't get permission to take it with me from the boss.....:(

It's of 4,000 miles, full service history with the last service done only a couple of weeks ago. Still got the Suzuki warranty until September and taxed to August. Genuine Suzuki lower fairing & hugger, digital gear indicator fitted in the dash, R+G crash bungs, tail tidy & LED indicators.

Good number plate too it starts SV55.

It's in excellent condition and been well cared for.

It's advertised on MCN and Bike trader online for £3,200 ono in Aberdeen.

Nah, sorry. It's the whole bike or nothing I'm afraid. Moving to Oslo and my other half doesn't want to ship it across although I have been begging to keep it (considering the same bike would cost approx 90,000 Kroner or £8,000!!!!!!:o )

If somebody wants it, it comes with a paddock stand & tail pack in the bargain, plus all my maintenance stuff (chain lube, anti-corrosion stuff, cleaner etc.)

Simple really.

She flies (or whatever) and you do a nice little road-trip :)

Easy when you look at it that way

Tim In Belgium might even have all the bits you need to make it more Swedish Road Friendly

Alternatively - you point out how it's worth more there than it is here. So financially you (as a couple) would be better off if you sold it there. Then when you get it there you could accidentally take your time converting it or decline offers etc etc. During which time she 'might' come round and if she doesn't well you'll hop efully still make more cash than if you let it go here.

If it still available, is there any chance of some more pics please? Either post or send them to psycho_nickh[at]hotmail[dot]com

Also, are there any security devices fitted?
What was done on the service?

It's a nice place Oslo, and Norwegians are very friendly, but wow is it expensive to live there! Not surprised that your bike would be worth 8k - surely it's worth importing it or are there swingeing duties?

Best of luck :)

I did look at importing it but the excise duties are nearly £4,000 !!!!!

So that's not really an option just now.

Nick, I'll take some photos and send them to you this week. As for security it's Alphadotted and comes with an oxford boss lock. The service was the proper Suzuki 4,000mile service done by my local Suzuki dealer (and yes it costed an arm and a leg!)
