its usually £10 per adult, kids free ...... I think !

It's just off the A515 between Uttoxeter and Ashbourne. Derbyshire presumably.

defo! They werent that bothered anyway ..... its worth a trip, its really chilled, small, friendly and you can get close to the circuit, minitwin sounds fun also!

It a great place to watch up on the banking at the top hairpin 8)

Just been on the darley moor website .... its not advertised on there, it says the next event is in June? Is it def on? And is it on tomorrow?

Not sure if anyone made it down to Darley last weekend- will let Opsman come along and give his official report, but got to say, big huge congratulations! Up to second in the championship!! WELL DONE!!

had a great 2 days here is report for those who want to read :-)


Here are the race results for round 4 and 5 Darley Moor

Race: Darley Moor Round 4 and 5 MiniTwins Championship 19th May 2007
9am Saturday morning blue skys

First Practice:
Only get to have one practise session and clocked a 1'10 second lap putting me in 4th very difficult track to learn.
Qualifying round: 13:52pm
Good result enjoyed the track a lot, chicanes and double s's made it a new experience.
Result: Qualified 2nd in my class(overall 17th)
Fastest time: 01:08.98
Average speed: 75.75 MPH
Fastest Lap Speed: 78.28 MPH

The actual Race: 17:13PM
Very close race led it for half the race but lost out ending 2nd, good points haul and very pleased with better lap times
Result: came 2nd in my class(overall 16th)
Fastest time: 01:06.81
Average speed: 78.62 MPH
Fastest Lap Speed: 80.82 MPH

Day 2
Up bright and early Sunday at 6:30am gave the bike a once over the weather was very hot so the track had changed.

Qualifying: 12:22pm
Managed to qualify in 2nd place which I was chuffed with a bit of consitency, led the race until the final straight. This put me 2nd on grid for my championship and 17th overall.
Fastest lap 01:06.19 (getting faster)

Actual Race: 17:30pm
Very long wait due to a lot of bad accidents. Managed a good solid 3rd in the final so points tally better than day before.
Fastest Lap: 01:06.28
Average speed: 79.15 mph
Fastest speed: 81.47

Championship standings

4 Mark Holder 67 points
