Correct me if I am wrong. But that wont fit a standard SV, curvy or pointy.

my brembo radial m/c is on a "standard" curvey.

Let me try again.

Is that lever a direct replacement for the SV one ? Will it fit to the factory fitted reservoir :?:

no. i never implied it would. that's why the title is "brembo radial...." & not "stock SV lever". kinda' thought that was understood...you can however, mount this lever on your brembo radial that is on your SV. ;)

Isn't there something in the org's basic T&C about advertisments?

I would say this passes all the rules though. It's his & on his SV. end of story.
Whether it was described well or not is something else.
Welcome BTW.

advertising what? my eBay auction? i figured you guys over in the EU would be psyched to get that lever at that cost & w/ shipping as cheap as i'm charging?...obviously not a lot of racers on here that run radials though. my mistake.

Personally, I disagree. At least section specific. Idle Banter has a stipulation about ebay links.

Maybe I'm just being unusually pedantic, but go figure, I'm not a mod, thankfully :)

No disrespect intended btw KrooklynSV, just my 2p, and good luck with the sale.

thanks stu...i'm seriously stumped as to why i'd need to describe it anymore...if you have a brembo radial (& you'd know if you did) this lever will work (as long as it's a 19x18 ). if you have a normal stock m/c (non brembo radial) this will not work. if you have to ask, then you don't need it.

it got moved to idle banter...it was in the "for sale" section...

My bad then :)

OK so let's start at the beginning.

You posted in the For Sale section but it specifically states:

For Sale Sell your old SV tat here ;-) No trade ads & NO OTHER BIKES (so anything not SV related and particularly other makes and models of bikes, will be automatically moved to Idle Banter and unsanctioned trade ads will be deleted)

Now the lever is not at all an SV related item. I come to that conclusion as it is not a bolt straight on item. It will not bolt straight on to a stock reservoir. That means that to probably 99.9% of the users of this forum have no need for it. What concerns me is that a new member of the forum could possibly be suckered into thinking that it is indeed a straight replacement for a normal standard front brake lever.

Further I believe (and this is going by your selling history) that you are actually an Ebay trade seller. Can I please also point out the last part of the of the rules above. "unsanctioned trade ads will be deleted".

Would I be far from the truth to say that you registered on the forum with the sole purpose of plugging the item for sale on Ebay :?:

Well, I would've bought it, if I didn't already have 3. When you're me, it pays to plan for crashing :) Someone else could buy it and consider it a first instalment to an upgrade?

whoa!!! relax! i'm not a "trade" seller. do i sell my old sh!t on eGay, sure. do i make a living off of it or do it as a trade, no. i apologize if this forum doesn't like to include items that are not "specifically" OEM replacement parts & items. i figured someone like N'wind (who i know through SVR) would like to know that i'm selling a brembo lever for a good price & that i'd ship to the EU (most us people won't). i wasn't trying to join to just sell my sh!t...man...this has gotten ridiculous.

P.S. - N'wind if you want it, i'll give you a good deal.

Ah, yeah, should've said- Yep, Krooklyn isn't just a random seller, he's a longtermer on SV Rider- I see how it looks but it's not totally random spamming, honest...

3 is enough for me though ;)

KrooklynSV, as I said before, no disrespect intended. I merely saw the post count as being low, so I hit your name, then find previous posts by you. All were inside this thread, so I assumed the same as bigape, that you joined the forum to post an ebay link.

I didn't know that it'd been moved from For Sale though, and like I said, I'm no moderator :)

It was a combination of the trade adverts thing that bigape said, and the ebay link to sales in Idle Banter, that, and me not knowing (due to not having to enforce) the forum rules.

T'was all light hearted from my side.

no worries...i know how it probably looked. i honestly was only posting here b/c i thought (again) that someone like n'wind (who i know has a brembo radial) would jump on the deal b/c i think it's a good deal for you guys over there in the EU. so...to lighten things up the real question is, is alonso going to start wed or is mascherano?

I think some of the confusion has come from the US ebay motors site - it's not what we are used to at ebay.co.uk.
So I think Big Ape thought you were a trader on ebay (nothing on there to suggest to me that you're a trader)
Also to be fair, I think people are a bit suspicious of first posts being 'For Sale'.
So hope you'll stick around
