Saturday 19/05/07. The rebuild nears completion.
Wheel (AndyB :thumbsup:) and discs (£29 on eBay) attached to forks (TSM :thumbsup: (+mudguard)) with new spindle (21Quest :thumbsup:).

Good to see it nearly back on the road. I do believe that I have actually only ever seen it once before in the metal so to to speak. It's been a while. :lol:

Hitting things. Straightening the fairing brackets, attempting to move brake pistons etc

I tell you if people spent half as much time working on bikes as mocking up photos there'd be a lot less "unfinished projects" out there...

The non matching mudguard and front wheel shows its a 'proper' bike; ie its ridden, crashed and put back together so it can be ridden again. The opposite of pansies like me who don't use their SV that often!
