Very nice bike.

Dont put of getting the crash bungs, because even from a 0mph drop you will be suprised how much money they will save (Speaks from personal experience :smt105 )

I would also recommend a fender extender, as it doesn't appear to have one from your piccies (quick search on the forum will reveal all if you dont know waht one is)

Black looks cool

Yeah, I thought i already had 'em, so I was a bit confused for a sec back there :smt105

As said before, slip-on and lower fairings are on my "want-list", but I really want to try it with 72bhp before I use all my money on it, 'cause with only 34bhp, it's really dull..

Oh, and yeah, I'm from Norway, hope thats okay..?

They aren't crash bungs, they are Motrax DHM's - They cause more damage than protection in a spill :!:

Just wondered, is mine a K6, or ..?

What Cloggsy means is that a crash bung's job is to take the impact damage. It's supposed to bend/buckle/break off (well, ideally not break off) to minimise the impact force.

DHM's aren't that great at doing that, supposedly (I've never used them). I've read that they tend to pass the impact direct to the frame. A damaged frame means a writen off bike!!

I personally use R&G's, and only tested once. It did it's job perfectly in my case.

Also, looks like a K6, could be a K5 though. What's the paperwork say for year?

They don't do their job... If you are unfortunate enough to drop the bike they will damage your frame as opposed to protect it (like they are supposed to...) That is why I'd go for the R&G ones ;) They are more expensive, but do they job they are intended for :!:

my DHM's worked on my old 650, surpose it depends on what type of crash you have?

How do you see that? Whats the difference? It's a 2006 model ..

Are there any parts that f.x will fit a K6, but not a K5 ?

That dark screen looks good, do you know what make it is? Why have you only got tape on the front wheel? Tape only makes your bike faster if you have it on both wheels!

Been toying with the idea of tape on my wheels. I have the sv as in my avatar. Not sure what colours would go, apart from blue which is prob common.

I've got the same k6 sport and have red tape on mine, this might sound strange but in my opinion looks good, I will try and get some pics on at the weekend.

New exhaust has been ordered, together with a new airfilter! Looking forward!

Why tape only on front? ****ed up so many times, I ran outta tape..
Gonna remove backwheel and clean chain and sprockets, I'll put some tape on it then.

Heres a black 'n' white pic of my SV and the Kwak while we wait for the new exhaust ;)

Wow.. I really need to get some rimtape for the rearwheel soon..

My next mod will probably be either lower fairings or new springs, oil and maybe a PCIII.

So, what do you think?

If you go full fairing get propper ones PLEASE! I hate the standard susuki attempt, they look like they are cheap and really shouldnt be there (like they shouldnt) :p
