Just a quick post to say seeya!

I'm off to Canada for a year within the next couple of weeks, so I've sold the bike (and all my other worldly possessions). :(:(:(:(

I know I've been a rather slack and absent member of the GM this year  but things have been a bit on the manic side lately as you can imagine.

Anyway, I may well be back in twelve months or so and I shall definitely be getting a new ride, in the meantime make the most of the summer y'all (i.e. less driving to the pub and more rideouts!)....

Oh and ride safe.... you know it makes sense ;)

Marc.

Hey Marc,

Off to Canada for a year, you will enjoy that alot and im not sure we'll see you again on these coasts, after a year you may well be turned to the canadian side, been there loads of times and its a great place, you'll love it.

Are you going over because of work or other motives? eitherway get a bike over there, fuel is really cheap and no excuse not to ride.

Less driving?! whats all that about ;) we shall hold a memorial service at the next rideout for you.

Take care Marc and dont forget about us, they have the Internet in Canada too :D

Cheers guys! :)

Regarding the work thing, it's a kind of working holiday. We've got no jobs lined up, but hopefully things will pan out once we arrive!

If we stay in one place for long enough I may well get a bike whilst I'm there - plenty of mountain roads to be had! Also, we're doing a bit of a road trip across the west US before arriving in Canada, so I may get the chance to hire a bike for a day or two during that period.
