The Poacher in South Warnborough, lovely looking pub on a lovely little rideout route of mine. I was thinking of doing some twisties beforehand and meet at the pub at about 8?
Anyone interested?

its supposed to be the thursday night guildford meet this week but i guess none of us are really that fussed
anyone know when the ancho re-opens wouldn't mind taking a look since the refurb has taken the best part of year to complete

The Anchor is meant to re-open in June/July this year however i have heard rhumours of it being turned into apartments. But the bar lady that was there when we were last there said about the kitchen moving to where the entrance by the toilets are and they are getting new conservatory and stuff.

Undecided at the moment, my car MOT was due yesterday, totally slipped my mind until I looked at the date and thought "Oh, 23rd May, it's my car's registration..... s**t, forgot the MOT", so I can't use it til tomorrow and I got to pay for it.

I've got the car booked in for 12 tomorrow. Hope it passes as I'll need it for work tomorrow night. :roll:
Law, how much you paying for MOT? Trade tyres do it for £35 (not sure if they try to rip you off on work being required or how soon they fit you in) but as above, don't you have other transport ? :confused:

Yes, I do have a bike. The undecided bit is cos I wasn't expecting to shell out an extra £50.35 this week (cos I forgot, duh me!). Already phoned a couple of garages to see who could fit me in this week and booked as I need the car for work.

Change of plan then. I have texted T whether we are still going to the Poacher, it's the Ely now instead of getting lost. I'm gonna have a burger or torte or both. :p
Well that would explain why it was just me at the Poacher. Had a nice ride out though, some great technical twisties round the back of greywell.

Oh sorry, erm.....yeah well I was working till 6:30 then had to dash home get in the car with the missus, go and grab the exhausts then dash down to Tesco's and get some last minute shopping for my trip.......so yeah.....I forgot.
