Can't comment on the chavvyness as I have an ocular allergic reaction to SRADs :-s

There's some truly nasty things on that bike. However, they're not easy truly nasty things (coloured fork bottoms and top yoke) which suggests that there may be other goodness lurking in them thar forks. There's a logo on 'em which might be Maxton?
Tank bags cover dents, bikes that have been taken to bits and been powder coated and polished, often needed a strip down to re-build after a crash. I'd look at it very, very carefully.

I should explain....I have a windfall of about 2k and was gonna top up by £500and was thinking....new bike, something for the wife, holiday or spend it all on clobber
Is that not quite a good price as some people want almost that much for an SV of that age.
I'm not the best to comment on the paint, but I personally wouldn't want it unless it was the RR model (not out then???)

You're right...no rr model then. The paintjob I would de-chav it. Its a great price though...makes me wonder.

Not sure the boys at Repsol would reecgnise that shade of matt orange...
oh treat your wife, she has been a star lately with your injuries etc. it will earn you lots of brownie points. and use rest for advanced training and how to fall off correctly tecniques. maybe a ron haslam track day. or lunch for everyone on rideout - at the old course hotel in st andrews lol
oh yeah and t hat first bike is minging lol
Step away from the bike with the coloured screen...
Now I'm Worried!! Is my bike too "chavvy"?
looks ok in the pic. in the picture we are discussing its the wheels that put me off. but then i dont like coloured wheels. everyone is different though.
I think in the bikes in question it is the overuse of the anodised bolt ons that make them look a bit chavyy, I think if your gonna spend a wedge of cash on a bike get one near standard and if you want to add any mods, then you can do so yourself and they will be to your taste, not the previous owners.
