View Full Version : sv650s k1..... what's it worth
Ok, just testing the water really. I am thinking about selling my baby.
Black, fully faired, k1 7800 miles. Carbon scorpion can, black fabarri screen, small rear indicators, tail tidy, seat cowl (with pillian seat also) been lowered with lowering kit.
Rides beautiful, looks excellent.
What should I expect to get?

how much do u want for it?
test the water yourself with what you think you will get! Over £1500 defo
I was thinking £2200. Is that to much, very low mileage! That's why I thought I'd ask!

If you think about selling the seat cowl separately let me know.
As for value, GBP2k? Just a guesstimate.

Although it is probably worth more to you, In this day and age, I would
be extremely suprised if you got more than £1900 - £2000.
for it.
Condition and low mileage usually makes them easier to sell - not worth more. :( Stupid, I know.
To be honest, I would probably keep a bike as nice as that rather than buy one of those CBR things. :smt015

maybe you are right, will be happy with around the £2k mark. CBR comment ignored....... I need to think this over carefully!

:thumleft: Seriously though, give it some thought. As you probably know, I sold my
Ninja 6 and got the SV in '02. Still got the SV and dont regret getting rid of the SS. Good Luck.
dealer offered me nothing like. He says that because suzuki are offering such good deals on new, it is not helping this secondhand market, think he may have a good point. I am most definately not decided on the cbr, I do love my bike :D

seen k3s around the £2300 mark. Unfortunately for you its not worth that much. Bet you're glad you didn't buy a k6! :(

Yeah, but thats a 'pointy' though. Would have thought £2300 for any pointy is a bit steep.
Seriously though, It really is only worth doing if you must have a CBR and are
willing to give your bike to **** Turpin. :smt005
Why on earth have they deleted the word ****?

I have seen a 00 sv650s with 20,000 sell for £1600. Your bike at that milage is rather good. But as other people said i will make it easier to sell.
BTW i am after an sv650s in black. If you are serious about selling, i will PM you an offer?

I just bought a 2000 one for £1750, if its any help. check out'not for girls' in the photo bit to compare. I think its about the right price for condition although yours is seriously low mileage. I think you'd miss it if you sold it, its very nice
