Doh! (now I seen my bike.....) Well done Tomcat, a sale in a few days.
SOLD
Congrats Tomcat, one step closer then ;)
Oh btw, I think you can retract auctions on Ebay (possibly a small fee for this?). I'd hate you to have the headache of selling privately, and then someone bid the ebay auction. I know you've put the message up in bight red writing, but there's no accounting for some people...

You must've taken a blow to the head Mike. Fancy, even considering a slower colour.

ace news.
now get on that cbr and ride it hard
A old school friend of mine has just started biking again, she is very very nervous. Her husband has just written off his bandit, so they are buying it, for him to ride, her to pillion, with a few for her to take it on when she is ready. I am really pleased because it means we can ride out together, and I can see my old bike!!!
Will be finally picking up the cbr in the next few days hopefully!!
Baph, I have should have actually retracted the auction now, so hopefully it should be ok/
Anyway she is picking it up today, I am going to MOT it for her now, and then drop the oil, cant ask for fairer then that I say!
:D

Cool. I was just talking to Quiff earlier about possibly meeting at Ponderosa on Saturday too (he's having PC problems). If he's coming up, it'd be nice to meet you & your bloke if you have the chance to bring the CBR out for a play. You'd learn the way to Ponderosa too :)
Hell, depending on his ankle, I could even pick Luckypants up just so he doesn't feel like he's missing out :)

Was about to post a whining reply! Hmmm getting new bike fever now.... must be my hormones.

Nice idea. See how it goes, we have got funeral arrangements and stuff to make. And the motherinlaw is staying with us .... and her dirty scaby spaniel, which I am frantically cleaning up after now, before I take the bike, god I dont know weather I am coming or coming!! (that was a genuine typo, but then I thought it said it all when I read it!!!)
See how it goes, but certainly a cuning plan :D

OK. Quiff isn't certain either yet, and obviously you have stuff on your plate that takes precedence at the moment.
Me and/or Quiff will keep you informed as to what happens with our side of things. You never know, it could even end up being a mini-North Wales rideout, only with Quiff having his PC as pillion!

Oh I see, you are doing work on his dodgy pc .... thought you guys were both keen!
Yep, see how it pans out, at the end of the day I will be desparate to get out on my new bike so if we do get a chance for a ride, it might as well be in that direction!
Also, I need new tyres on it!! Hay ho its all go! To much to do, not enough hours in the day, no wonder I am getting up a silly o clock every day! And inbetween and this theres that four letter word of WORK

Now then. If this works right, click here (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=llangollen+to+buckley&sll=54.162434,-3.647461&sspn=11.463319,40.517578&ie=UTF8&z=10&om=1).
Llangollen at the bottom of the route, head up HorseShoe Pass to Ponderosa at the top of the hill. Follow that route & get to Buckly Tyre Service.
It takes me around 1hour to get to Buckley, and it's the only place I'll go for tyres. Service & price is second to non! No need to book, or even call to check availability. Turn up, if they're busy just hang around for a while, ride away with a lighter pocket & more rubber on the bike.
Ride out to meet at Ponderosa, and tyres in the same day. Easily do-able. Around 20-30mins from Ponderosa to get to Buckley.

+1 Buckley Tyres :smt023 - would be on your way to the Ponderosa from your neck of the woods. 20-30 mins from Ponderosa? 30-45, more like 45 as that route is busy with cops on a weekend as is a main road into N. Wales from Merseyside / NW for bikes.

Ah, see, I tend to assume everyone comes from the bottom to Ponderosa. My bad.
Probably easiest to get to Buckley Tyre Service from the A55 if you're coming that way, then down to the bottom, right turn, then sharp left to continue that route down to Ponderosa.
