Another one bites the dust.. only the Ecosse mob can do it in style :smt103

Still amazed that there was not more damage than that Jim.. Can still clearly picture the CBR doing a 360 flip after finding the kerb! Quite shocked how far it slid then what followed at such a low speed?!

Ouch! Hope all heals. Bit of hammering and that exhaust will look good as new;) looks like it did save the rear getting a lot of damage though! :)

sorry to interrupt guys  the exhaust is fixed(i had the standard can in the hut)and all the other broken bits are off the bike ,oh im ok as well ,well a bit sore about my left thumb and my right shoulder is sore (i hit the deck that side)but a very lucky one considering, and yep it did seem to slide for a good bit as we werent haring it,i think the can took the brunt of it and i think the bike flipped over a complete turn after hitting the kerb ,.it was all a bit of a blur though ,halfway round the r/bout ,lost the front , wallop, grinding noise me and the bike parted company ,looked up to see the bike sliding very fastand hitting the kerb (i was still sliding along the tarmac at this point on my belly ,going feet first:confused:)coming to a stop ,no cars coming and get over to the verge .it really was an oh **** moment ,my bikes a wreck .but when i seen it and got it started again it wasnt as bad as i thought ,,,still its all part of the learning curve ,im a real biker now

Never mind started... Off it went home with Jim on it :salut:

Dare say it would have been a bit down on power with the slightly restrictive zorst can ;)

If there was nothing on the roundabout that contributed was it maybe just cold tyres Jim?

Glad you basically ok Jim.

Sadly I missed all the 'fun' for some reason I was at the back...

on a happier note (for the rest of you'se) don't I look a fool in every single picture I'm in, specially the icecream one...
