Hi All,

Just bought the above and the only downside I believe the bike has is it does nt make a loud or sweet enough noise. :smt075

So, I was wondering what was your fav exhausts you have fitted and why?

Cheers,

Mark

Got a high level Scorpion on my pointy sounds great, i had a Wolf can on before that and it was very loud, had a very raw tone to it, its also fully rebuildable .. meaning you can rebuild it with no packing.

Remus Revolution... Sounds lovely with or without the baffle, not horribly loud, very well made. Not very light, mind. They just work. Hate the way scorpions sound myself, but it's all a matter of taste.

Got a VIPER race can on mine, sounds loud and like a race twin. does that cool popping sound when your engine braking,

it was either that one or a scorpi extreme stubby. but im thinking of buying a few just to have some difference and I need an MOT passable zuast too lol,

Gat a Quill T3 which I love. Not that loud up to about half the rev range, then really lets go.

would be interested in your thoughts on the street extreme (if that's the one you were looking at) - put my name down for one when the bike has it's first service in a few weeks:cool:

the street extreme is very loud baffleless, in terms of performance you will get one or two BHP out of it but what you get is a good priced can, nice and small nice and loud as we all like em, worth the penneis for the carcon one your bike will feel different as you havent got a massive heavy stock exhaust on the side.

I'd still recommend the viper to anyone it is an absolute bargain and sound mint, still loving the popping sound when engine breaking, not something you want to let the rozzers hear tho.

sounds like exactly what i'm after then, not too interested in all out power, the SV is plenty of bike right now for me, i just want something that looks and sounds good - i'm going to hunt down a titanium one to satisfy my shiny thing fetish:mrgreen:

Another vote for G- Force. They always seem to get overlooked as a manufacturer. V. Good value for money, and imo one of the best sounds from an SV. (certainly in race pipe form. 8-[ )

And another one. Got a 3/4 system on mine and if you like em loud, you'll love Gforce. Makes a nice popping sound when I roll off on mine too and its got a nice deep tone to it too.

Only thing is, are they still going??? Tried to contact them a while back about getting my can repacked but no answer

I have a Sebring Can and it does the lovely popping noise.

I am still trying to find a can that will fit the SV650 K6 like the new GSX 650.

I love the Stubby cans.

Have found somewhere that will fit one for me and adapt it to fit but it costs a fortune....

Anyone have any ideas on this?

The popping noise is usually just caused by a bad seal somewhere. It's nice though :)

Blue flame, overpriced, poorly made, bad fittings, But sounds F-in awesome!

Scorpion Street Extreme, very nice sound with the baffle in, not horribly loud but very agressive. Very well made and sterling support service. The SS one saved me 6 lbs (2.7kg) over stock, and looks great, IMO.

Any with good build will do, as Northwind says it comes down to personal preference.
