I need a good Spanish speaker to translate a couple of words and phrases for me. I am making a wedding video of my friends wedding as a surprise and I need some translations. It was an english woman marrying a Cuban man and they will want to send the video to their Cuban family and I would love the text to be in Spanish.

Can anyone help?

Cheers

Colby

He'll probably do like they did in that old Monty Python sketch, where they made a rogue phrase book that translated "can you tell me where the train station is?" to "please will you fondle my buttocks?" :-D

Hmmm....

oreja......ear

ano...aN+s

aņo--year...therefore you have to be careful you do not wish someone a happy new a*se at the turn of the year!

You must bare in mind that spanish like every other languages has many slang words.

Best to avoid saying "I'm all ears" then when listening intently to a Spaniard imparting information.:)
Jews should take care when ordering Kosher Chicken as well if misunderstandings are to be avoided.

And "preservativo" doesn't mean "preservative", either.

This can lead to embarrassment when asking if food contains any "preservativos".

Spanish cuisine can be a bit awkward sometimes, but I don't think they started putting rubber balloons in their tapas yet!
