Might go up... Wasn't too great last year but not a bad day out at the price- the racing was good but the other stuff never really happened. Weather looks to be a bit rubbish though.

Btw the weather on sunday is supposed to be fine, but i was thinking about a rideout! - then again maybe i'll just head up in the car with one of those wee tents and have a sv650.org ecosse bar b q! at duffuss and chill out to watch the racing :)

thanks for the support Northy, (i think that wee thing is cool and i'd still be at the front of the group on it) but some b*gger bought the Kwak last night. First time I've ever been sensible and decided to think about things, I phoned up today and someone else got themselves a steal :smt088 :smt088 :smt088 :smt067

I'll still be there though rain or shine...

Ah Careless, never stop and think about anything, it only causes trouble :( 636 is it you're after?

Um, where can I get one of these? (For my wean before anybody starts.) It rocks!

They're quality, eh? Halfords used to sell 'em... They had a whole line of Kwak merchandise, BMXs, that one, a proper laid back Bigwheel, and the champion, a big electric kid's motorbike. Not like in my day...

If you want a lift stuarty it's cool mate! pm me - will be driving so just one beer for me! - going to get the tent out tomorrow to check its ok, either way get one of those little tent's you see at bsb on the telly from in-stores if they have any.

Here's the list so far............

A couple of cheap golf umbrellas
Ive got a couple of those comfy fold up chairs. (so bring your own!)
Waterproofs, warm stuff and boots in case!
A couple of bar b q's from asda (or cheaper if anyone knows where)
Bar b q meat and rolls + marg / butter / sauce
A few bricks for the bar b to sit on.
Something to light it with
A flask with tea in it. + cups
Couple of rugs for inside the tent. else yer erse will be freezin!
A camera fully charged to document the day.

Will see if i can pitch around duffus bearing in mind it's all sloped and if it's raining then its no good i may just park the motor trackside - we could all swop numbers to call on the day or keep yer eyes peeled for a new silver/ light blue ford fiesta with rossi's bike number on the back window - i'll tape my moby number next to it.

See can i sort out a bike day or what? (no matter the weather) leave the biking for one weekend and come along, this is a chance for the ecosse sv'ers to have a day off and enjoy someone else going nuts!

This is a message for everyone..... sundays a day of rest so come along and chill.

Keep any eye out for the guy sitting down on one of those fold up chairs at duffus and the silver/blue fiesta with rossi's number on the back window.

Later.

Dont' worry as i am prepared for a downpour, if you are coming i suggest bringing something waterproof to wear just in case.

Quedos and Garry - Good to meet you, thanks for a cool day out and the bar b q steak roll!

Good to meet everyone else! - sorry if i can't remember names or tags as i'm crap at remembering names until i've met people a few times (have a bit of dyslexia). So please leave a post to remind me.

Hope everyone had a good one and a safe journey home! - i listened to the remaining races on the knockhil radio station on the way home in the car.

btw, just heard that some guy on a bike ran out of petrol on the way home just outside kelty on the knockhill road and when he returned to fill it up some thieving scum had nicked his bike!

Very poor indeed! (me-thinks it was someone who was at the bikefair today who had a can of fuel and jumpstarted it or had a van able to lift it into)

We all got back about 6.45 lol stayed right til the end. I'm glad the weather stayed almost fair only a couple of wee showers. We had a go on the go-karts too lol now that was fun 8 of us racing round the track and we were all still speaking at the end of it.

Wish I had posted up here to see who was going so I could have met a couple of you but there is always next time.

More than likely a van I guess, and its more common than people think. When I had my first ever bike accident 3 years ago (dodgy corner, popular for bike crashes, but the corner has now been removed from the road) anyway I was told by the police that there had been an exact copy of my crash there 3 days before by another biker. The guy walked the 1/4 mile to the police station and when he came back the bike was gone.

Pam, your bike was spotted parked up just down from the bridge that goes over to the island!

We were cooking and chilling at duffus at the log cabin car park up the wee hill.

:D That was mine, woohoo I was spotted.

I was busy running a bit late this morning (as usual lol) trying to get the kids organised so never checked on here otherwise I would have popped down to Duffus and seen you.

There were 7 of us came through today I was between a CBR and a VFR hubby's zx 12 was further up. We left Glenrothes just before 10, and had a lovely ride through.

Yep- well done folks.

After all the weather talk about rain etc and having barbies, food & drink to take along, the weather stayed dry. We could have biked it. Typical bloody Knockhill weather that - always different to the forecast. Still, it was a better day for it though.

Nice to meet up and chew on a few coos on a roll :smt106 :smt106 :smt106 which meant no dinner was needed when we finally got home.

We hit traffic at Kincardine (due to trouble over & the Forth Road bridge I believe) and that took ages. That was after we waited right 'til the end of the meeting and to see the Air Ambulance come and go for the unfortunate rider in the last race. Glad to say that he was still compus from what we could see.

Well done to Muzi for the idea in the first place:thumbsup:

Well it worked didn't it? - now i think we should do the same for BSB but have the whole ecosse mob there! i can usually get a car pass for it so if so i will be designated driver for the bar b q stuff and i will probably pitch a wee tent - lets see how the weather goes. Let's get this one sorted in advance yeah. Get a sv ecosse base so people can leave their gear safe and take it in turns to do the wander.

btw i listened to the rest of the races on knockhill radio 1602am in the middle of dunfermline in the car park smoking a ciggie. and i think it transmits during all the races they have up there! so any day i don't make it i will just turn the radio on.
