Is Tinky Winky gay?

I just skimmed the title & had to open this thinking, "What's falc got against Tim Wilky?".

I figured that Teletubbies were gender-non-specific or something.

As the name says, the polish are currently launching a case against the teletubbies and namely Tinky Winky calling him homosexual as he is a boy apparently but carrying a handbag.

I didnt think the teletubbies were a boy or girl, so cant see how Tinky Winky is gay but then again with a name like that...anyway Discuss!
