As rubberduck has said the Anchor has reopened. I think the meet should be there. Back to our old nest!
Started a new thread to let everyone know as the old one was a bit of a mess.

yes it did the meet is always on a thursday but a change is as good as a rest and it will be good to see hwo the anchor has turned out

unfortunatly Wednesdays are all booked up, either out for a drink or Selkent, count me in for the next Thursday one.

Damn- not going too far until my back brake is replaced (Friday), plus the Bike's cost a fair bit this month, so gonna have to miss it.
Will meet you all soon though I'm sure...

Yes next Thursday, we might give the Anchor a try so everyone can see the changes.
It's very different, more upmarket gastropub now. I felt a bit out of place in jeans and a quiksilver jacket, as the rest of the patrons were oldies in casual shirts. Looks very nice though. I wonder how they would welcome leather clad patrons.
T destroyed the candle on our table so she got another which she ruined as well.
