Very nice! Yes, I'm on about the bike. :p

Is that stock? Is that rim tape?

Oh and they're not tiny, all 640 by 480 which is the size I have my photos at.

yes and yes. Not a fan of the stuff, but I think it looks good, because the rest of the bike is so standard! gonna keep it stock for now, except a dark double bubble.

congrats! Lovely bike!

I had one of those briefly but it doesn't take to being lowered very well :(

Lol, I have a CCC can in red and black, and a black hugger if you are interested :D

Tomcat

Yes a very cheesey grin! I was worried after I sold the sv that I wouldnt like it much, but I had an 80 mile ride home so it gave me a fair idea, and I love it!

Last night I dreamt I had a new bike, then I woke up, and it was real, great feeling!

Not going with hugger etc ..... for now, like the idea of it standard. Am going to get a dark screen tho, thats a must!
:D

Congrats on picking it up, finally! Some good news after recent events for you :)

Now that's a naughty pose! Don't do that with a police officer following you.

Oh yea, and I'm always paranoid about plate cloning. So edit out your plate details (or I'll be forced to run around North Wales with a tiny one line plate with your details on it :p).

Since you have no IM details setup, I'll walk you through it in PM, save derailing your thread, and leave more space for your pictures. :)

It's varies so much in different applications though, and there's about 15ways to do it in each application.

Anyway, stop derailing the womans thread already :p

and so you should be my friend ;)

Must admit I havent seen many, but I shall be spotting them all now! It really rides lovely, very smooth, the acceleration is effortless. I could go on and on but I guess it would sound like I'm bragging !!! ;)

Nice bike, Tomcat. Especially in 'non toothpaste' colours. :p
Can I be so bold as to enquire what you eventually got for your SV or, at least the difference you had to pay between the two bikes?

If its any consolation I have sold the sv to a friend that we ride with, so I shall see it and maybe get the odd ride on it ;)

Just kidding, I'm glad you're happy with your new ride, it's just a shame to see a lovely black example go.

By the way, when are you going to get this one painted?

Other half has the same in black. It is a beaut, very very deep shine to it ..... but it would be REALLY sad to have the same! That is how this whole bike change thing happened, I said I really loved his bike, but I only like black. Then he saw this one on ebay, showed it me, and i was hooked !

Could do you a picture if you want!

Aye, go 'head then, might as well have a look see at t' blokey's bike. (excuse me donning a temporary Yorkshire accent, but hey, it's better than an American TV show one aint it?)

Argh! Metallic black. A nice matt black is more unique & looks better IMO.

Also, I could be wrong, but it looks like his is a slightly newer bike than yours. Could be the angle of the pic, but your lights look bigger than his. My eagle eye also sees that his oil refil cap is in a different position to yours by the looks.

As things stand, yours looks better than his, but dull the paint on his a little and he wins hands down.

Still don't like the whole single seat for rider/pillion deal, but hey, they aint my bike.

Both look nice, just not really for me (they're also both begging for a non-stock can, and small plate - but I'm just a trouble causer me :( ).

Tomcat
31-05-07, 01:10 PM
His new can arrived yesterday! I felt the same about the seat, I love the single seat but if that is the only thing I can complain about ....!

His is 2004, mine 2003. There are slight difference, but not a great deal.

Anyhoooo, mine is a nicer colour ;) (and ridden with that special 'lady' style of course!) :flower:

No, not at all metallic! My sv was a slight matallic and next to that it made it look weak in colour, if that makes sense!

No, its a deep deep black, but highly polished!

Well in that case, you, him, or both, need to stop polishing!!

Really ruins a nice black bike when it shines almost as much as kwak's!!

Looks very nice, I like those cbr600's, i think they look better (and probably are a bit easier to live with) than the current super-duper sports cbr's

I agree, easier to live with certainly. Not so flashy, but still with a lot of power ;) Showing signs of maturity, yet still enjoying the real bike feel, the build quality is superb :D IMO only !

Really nice bike that Tomcat, welcome to the IL4 club. Toothpaste colours would have been nice though although that silver looks a treat.
