Hi i was wondering if anyone that was good with any photo program's could remove the background of this photo and leave just the bike, is this even possible, i am a bit lacking in any knowledge to do this tried using jasc but all i managed to do was change it from the garage and stone's to just the bike on a white background, any help would be great. If any one think they can/ want to do it i can send a larger quality image thanks.http://http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u95/ad53ggz/bike1-1.jpg

It's certainly do-able in photoshop or gimp (freeware picture editing software for broke people like me).

The only way I know would take a long time and a lot of patience and attention to detail though.

see i have been fiddling with jasc paint shop pro 8 and can get rid of the background but when i go to save it with a transparent background it says " because of the limitations of the specified file format, the saved file will be limited to a merged file. would you like to continue?" click yes it saves the picture with a white background.

"Magic wand" selection tool set to the right colour match would get most of it, then just tidy it up a little & hit the delete key.

Ah yes!

The magic, magic wand.

Why didn't I think of that?

If no-one else has done it by the time I get home (about 6pm) I'll do it.
Pretty easy in Paintshop ;)

If you can send me a higer res piccy as well that would be even better but this one should suffice.
