Route to Preston??

going to preston tomorrow any1 can suggest a non motorway route that would be enjoyable ;) btw from M'cr that is

I dunno where you live to start from...

But I go past Rivi, turn right up Sheephouse lane. Follow the road across the moors. Hit a T Junction at the little village pub and go left.
Follow that road all the way to the M65 roundabout. 2nd exit> Past Hoghton Tower, T junction left and then there's signs to Preston.
I think... TBH I don't know the names of the roads and my directions are crap, but I know where I'm going. Mostly.

You could always just follow the A6...

I have though found a route outside Preston that goes up north a bit on the route bible 2006 pg 45
