Thanks to Beenz, Stretch, Xan, Triumumph ump h uyh, and of course VB who took P.C Loz of the local constabulary out on a great ride today. It was awesome.
VB reckoned that we should put some quotes of the day up.
Vickster said of Stretchie
"You've got a face I just want to punch"

Xan's impression of VB's sparkly new kwak; think it went something like...
"bbbblllphptphptbbllrrr" :D
Good ride; Stretchie couldn't hack it though, kept stopping and pretending he had something in his eye! yeah right! ;)

as for quotes....
the
'look... no hands' made an appearance once or twice....
And Im sure Stretchie at one point was having a talk to the salesman trying to convince him my old bike was a hack job!
Here's a few photo's off Vix phone.

A little bit of rain but not too bad, just cold and tired by that point.
As for the guy in the mondeo I've never seen anything like it. My spidey sense tingled and told me something was odd when he went to overtake me, so I let him go, he then went on to pass Vix on a blind right hander, then undertook you on that lay by where you were slowing for the vehicle turning right in front of you. Next thing we see is him clip the raised grass verge at the end of the lay by, creating a big dirt cloud and unsettling the vehicle which then snaked off down the road until the tw*t managed to recover it. I got a look at the bloke when he passed me, he must have been in his mid 50's at least.
Anyway, I wanted to add another quote fo the day but the infurating nanny-state-esque forum censorship will not allow me to type the name of the pub where we stopped. I'm tempted to arrange a rideout starting from there just to point out how crazy it is.
"Sunday 3rd June, 11:00, Meet at The **** Inn on the A40".
This drives me crazy, where a word has a grammatically correct non-offensive meaning it should be useable. Words that are only offensive can be banned by all means.
If I had a gun I'd **** (male bird) it before getting on a train to Cockfosters. LUNACY!!!!!
And no. I don't want to discuss it with a moderator. End of rant.
Aerodynamic rucksac VB, can you achieve the 5 mph limit with that on. :)

What, The C0ck Inn?
where was my invite?;)
It kind of fell together on Saturday. As we live just up the road from Bristol Kawasaki Vix and I said we'd go meet VB. That morning Beenz texts me out of the blue and we tell him we're meeting VB. We get there, and Stretchie turns up. We decided to go for an unplanned ride, and along the way Trimumpaloompa joined us.
So actually no one got invitations, so I promise, next time, neither will you - can't say fairer than that can I
What, The C0ck Inn?
No don't be daft. That's the new Carbon Monoxide fragrance by Calvin Klein!

did my snagging list last night on the bike... found two bolts under the seat had undone themselves.. and only reason they hadnt fallen out was the pillion seat was stopping them coming out any further.... heat shield stuff above exhaust.. one side plastics has a heat shield.. other side doesnt.. and stuff like that...
and Yes, I have a works PC now.... but dont have time to use it at the moment.. been kept rather busy to say the least in a very warm office! damned air con is sitting in a box waiting to be installed!

Most likely.. yes... I was in cardiff at 8am on my bike this morning... :D
left the house at 7am.... didnt expect that much traffic around the M4... clogged up the A470 good and proper due to 'improper lane discipline' from cage drivers who thought they could cheat the queue.. but then cant get back into the lane... so block up an entire dual carriage way instead... and Im not quite up to filtering on me tod on this bike yet....

So you admit that Vix can make progress in town quicker than you!
In fact on sunday morning I didn't want to try to keep up with her either.
If she carries on like that we'll have to rename her Sigourney (i.e. Weaver).

Oddly I don't have a problem with the odd spot of controlled sedate filtering. :silent:
