This is probably old news, may also be a bit north for most of the surfers. But, if you're up this way - Fish Hill, the A44 between Evesham & Oxford, found this on the weekend by mistake, it's lurvely :) Dual carriageway, plenty of space, then you see a 25mph warning triangle for an upcoming bend. Nice camber, well surfaced, plenty of room, scrapey both knees :)
Just look at it :) http://www.multimap.com/maps/#t=l&map=52.03193,-1.83219|16|4&loc=GB:52.03023:-1.827:17|fish%20hill|Fish%20Hill,%20BROADWAY,%20WR 12
Word of warning - the bend tightens up quite severely. Worth doing a sighting run first, a bit of research this morning reveals this section has quite a grisley reputation and as such is also policed quite heavily, if you lowside on the way up as the bend tightens you slide right under the wheels of an oncoming truck.
yep i use to live in Evesham for 7 years untill i joined the Army, and my in laws still live there,That road is awsome on a bike, if you get it wrong you will die though!!
the way it goes from a tight corner to the long straight downhill is awsome!!!! its even fun in a car. Should be part of a GP circuit!!
Here's what it looks like for real

Ditch multimap, use live local or google maps.
I discovered this by mistake also a couple of months ago. The first time I tried it going up hill (after going down the hill first) I though I was going to over cook it. When I showed the SWS lot I waved em past so they could enjoy the run.
Triumphumphumph went an odd colour after flying up the hill and a few weeks later I showed Strechie and Squirrel humter the road as well. SH was speechless. Never seen him like that.
In the future I'll lead peeps on the road and not wave them past, if they decide to go really quick then thats up to them. From my experience I'll be riding within my limits and enjoying it if going just a tad slower.
I have to agree, if you get it wrong though, you probably ain't gonna be able to tell anyone about it.
Fish Hill :smt088 The only road I've ever ridden that really scares the s*** out of me. Down is easy but up is just a living nightmare. Only being a short ride away I've spent many times trying to master that b**tard road to no avail, now its just something that I dread doing. Maybe its because my mate came off there a few years back, I don't know.
slow and steddy is the way forard on that road, in car or bike!! when i was living in Evesham use to be up and down it all the time in the car.
only done it twice on the bike and i did find that it is best to take it easy as it is far too easy to overshoot the bends.
Now at night when you can see the headlights comming its different as you can start to take the racing line a bit more.
Even better they should close it off and let us have some fun on it! a hiil sprint up and down maybe??
We done it as part of our Annual Ride in 2005

Oh THAT road.. Double:thumbsup: That was my second day back on the bike and I watched Squirrel and Beenz slope of into the distance.
We stopped and Squirrel was also a funny colour :pale: and didn't want to set off for quite a while, VERY UNUSUAL for that lad..
Quote of the day was from Squirrel
I was following this line on the road that went wide then I thought to myself
"I know what those lines are... They are accident investigation lines..... WHY AM I FOLLOWING THEM!!?????"

I almost lost a mate on his GSXR as we went up here, he didn't realise how it tightened up at the top and ended up on the wrong side of the road....
I should have taken it a bit slower
Yes, it's good isn't it... It was part of AR06 if I remember correctly.
.
I think it was the Cotswold AR which was 2005. Might have been last year as well, but i wasnt there.
