Hello all,

I've decided to take the plunge and get a new GSX-R600 before the £99 insurance deal runs out, I've had an offer of £2k from the dealers for the p/x but thought I would post it on here for a few days before going through with the sale there in case anyone on here wants it. I will only keep the sale going for a few days before going back to the dealers so if anyone wants it they'll have to be quick!

The bike is absolutely mint, only done 4900 miles, bought from Highways Suzuki in Wolverhampton, had service at 300 miles and 1000 miles by the dealer, then oil and filter change at home at 1500 miles and 4000 miles. No scratches, chips, dents or anything.

I am the fourth owner, it was pre-registered, then another chap, then a chap who I work with who was his mate, then me, (hope that makes sense!). It has 4 months MOT and 4 months tax, no work needed at the last MOT.

It has a Scorpion road-legal can on it, and I have the untouched original and a race can, it has a dark screen, tank and top-yoke protector and a fender extender. It also has specially made seats with the yellow piping detail which looks cool (IMO!) and are more comfortable that stock. That is all the mods. It has fairly new Z6's on it (pics were taken when they were brand new last October, done about 800 miles since and they still look brand new, not squaring off at all).

I've always kept it religiously clean, and the chap who had it before me had a polishing fetish aswell. Never seen rain and there's no corrosion on it anywhere.

I will be sad to see it go but the lure of the four is calling me! :smt077

EDIT: Oops, forgot, it has slightly smaller indicators than standard on too, and a slightly smaller, though still legal (standard size lettering) numberplate. I have the original indicators, clear screen (unused) and numberplate.

I genuinely believe you wouldn't find a better K1 unless there's one in a crate somewhere! :) (I would say that though wouldn't I! But it is true!)

Matt

What a shame you weren't selling about 3months back when I was looking. It looks like an absolute minter.

I still managed to end up with one in the right colour tho......YELLOW! :)

PSzolk, I have received a PM from you but the system would not let me reply to it - it says you 'have chosen not to receive PM's ' or maybe you don't have access to it yet?

Seeing as I'm not one for secrets I'll post on here! I'm afraid another member had already PM'd me and is coming to look at the bike this afternoon / evening. If he doesn't want the bike I will call you to arrange a viewing for yourself.

He is looking at another bike today as well, in Lincoln, which is supposed to be mint so I'm guessing he will want either that one or mine, I will ask ask him if it's ok for me to put you in touch with him for some info about the other bike if he takes mine - hope that's ok.

Cheers,
Matt

And what can I say. I'm absolutely chuffed to bits with it.

I never thought I'd find an SV to match my last one, and this one actually seems better. :sunny:

I'm not sure how long it'll stay with such a low mileage though, I seem to be piling 'em on.

Did I say I'm chuffed to bits? Life is good.

Glad you like it mate!

How did the ride home go?

Ride home was not to bad, had some chap in the petrol station come upto me and tell me what a nice bike I had - didn't have the bottle to tell him I'd only owned it an hour!

Already planning a load of mods, just need to persuade the missus...
