Some trackdays don't like metal toe sliders.
Get those balls (of your feet) on to your pegs!
And look for some boots with replaceable plastic sliders, My HG race ones are easy to swap (similar to Alpinestar boots I think). However personally I wouldn't recommend HG race boots, as mine got a small split in one of the seams quite early on, but then they were pretty cheap.
yeah......... i did get my feet up once i relised, & the sliders on the £30 boots must of been made of cheese, but i would still like titanium slidders, or sothing a bit harder wearing than cheese
I have them on my Sidi's though most people are going for ceramic's now.

That's what I've got. Good boots. The creaking is awful to start with and comes back now and again (but not often). The real answer is "Back to Black" silicone spray. That sorts it out for ages - just spray it into all the moving bits of the exoskeleton thing (Plastic bits....)
Cheers,
Garry;)
