Who is going then?

Let's have the whole ecosse mob there! (and maybe some of the 'foreigners that make the journey too) i can usually get a car pass for it so if so i will
be designated driver for the bar b q stuff and i will probably pitch a wee tent
- lets see how the weather goes. Let's get this one sorted in advance yeah.

Get a sv ecosse base so people can leave their gear safe and take it in turns to do the wander.

Whilst it's closer than normally would be, being the last day of AE07 and 185 mile from the camp site, I'll not be attending, perhaps another year.

Cheers Mark.

I could go but I'd need to pass a divorce court on the way, off to John O'Groats with the Essex Lounge starting on the Monday.

Next year or perish in the attempt!

We'll be there at the same place as last time. Normally there is a coach set up where you can leave all your leathers and lids etc for a nominal fee. though it fills up quick on Sunday. We go there at 8ish last year probably just as well it was packed.

That's Knockhill, Dumfries and Galloway. You want Knockhill, Perth and Kinrosss. about 110 miles from Hoddom - here (http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=public&X=307500&Y=695000&width=700&height=400&gride=306307&gridn=694211&srec=0&coordsys=gb&db=pc&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=&advanced=&local=&localinfosel=&kw=&inmap=&table=&ovtype=&keepicon=&zm=0&scale=50000&out.x=10&out.y=14) in fact.

Just found out that Knockhill radio is on most of the time and the signal reaches south queensferry!

1602am - if you within that sorta radius when a meet is on check it out, it's highly recommended to visit your local instore and grab a cheap headphone radio to use if your ever going to knockhill for one of their big days as the tannoys are rubbish!

I shall be in the Lakes. Not literally in the Lakes, at most I'll be in one lake. At a time, anyway, it's a long weekend.

Would love to go as I missed it last year, but will be at the Assen MotoGP instead. You'd think they'd think of us when they set their schedules !!!!

Still got 1 spare berth on the boat if anyone fancies a last minute continental trip ...........

As Q has said, we'll be there Friday, Saturday & Sunday. In fact pretty much all week at this rate, since she's going for skid pan instruction (not on the bike) on the Wednesday too:driving: . After that, we'll probably head across to the George Square bash - should be a good laugh.

We got there plenty early on the Sunday and secured ourselves parking on a nice level section of hard standing near the skid pan and right next to the charity "lid park" that she mentioned. Having walked the stands on the Saturday, you could happily stay encamped to keep the pitch, except of course for toilet visits etc.

Lookin' forwards to it since there's always a great buzz.
