Apparently the Deputy Prime Minister is in hospital.
Am I the only one that DOES NOT wish him a speedy recovery?

I'm worried about the impact on the pie industry.

As much as I hate the ****, I hope he's ok (hes retiring anyway) its not his families fault he's such a ****.

It'd be hilarious if he contracted MRSA.

He's most of the way there. And he still shags his employees.

Actually, I've just made myself dry-heave. BRB.

OOOOOhhhh get you lot.:smt021 Feel the bad vibes.
JP upset you personally or are you just jumping on the well trodden press whipping boy bandwagon?JP was never a blue eyed Blair type but I always had a grudging respect for him as he came up thne hard way and got himself where he was.He started off as a steward in the Merchant Navy and aquired his education as best he could through his own efforts. He was not a middle class private/grammar school hand me my life on a plate type, like most of the others, and for that at least I always some slack.
And I just love the way he ****ted that heckler.:D

Mate, lets just agree to disagree. Bo**ocks to his 'working class' back ground. (which quite frankly has been his meal ticket)
For what he has stood for for over 10 years, I would not pi** on him if he
was on fire. :toss:

By the way, anyone in any 'professional' position that '****s hecklers' would be (quite rightly) sacked on the spot.
Why was he so special?

Don't get me wrong.I'm not suggesting he was any good(which of them are?)more just average, but he was essentially the court jester who could be vilified in the press without damaging Blair and the cronies. He was a figurehead for a certain wing of the party and that's about it,so what did he do to upset you so much?
As for the punching incident I stand by what I wrote. The bloke chucked something at him (it wasn't you was it?:p )and JP hit him.Fair does in my book.Shame the "getting sacked as a professional"mentality inhibits more people from sorting out scrotes on the spot.
I wish the daft codger a speedy recovery and a pleasant retirement.

The man was Deputy Prime Minister for Christsake, not a Bank Clerk. Lets put it this way, if the Heckler was me, Prescott would not have remained standing. I for one hope he never leaves hospital.
I'm sorry if my views upset anyone, but I despise the sad excuse for a man.

It's an old saying I know, but true - politicians and nappies, should both be changed regularly and for the same reason.

JP was kept in the party, in a meaningless position just to keep the Old Traditional Socialist's on board when Blair and Brown went all Tory. He's rightly a bit of a joke.

Oli----That's absolutely true,
But hardly a reason to wish the old codger dead.
There's plenty of really evil bastids who have destroyed many people's lives up there in the politbureau, and I will save my vitriol for them.

He wasnt kept in to secure the left wing traditional vote, he was kept as they knew his antics would divert attention from what the party was actually doing. Ever notice when news of his antics were front page some bit of unpopular Government spin was pushed out of the headlines.

I didn't wish him dead, I don't think - though it is still early.

Those *******s have to do what they think is right for the majority. If you think you could get it right, so that EVERYONE was happy, EVERYONE got exactly what they wanted then you'd either be naive or a liar.

Oh dear, I sound all political, i'm not I just like to point out when people are being a bit narrow minded. It's like a hobby.
