No, it's not a welsh thing, but I've just got one of these;

and took it out for a spin today. The camera is a Fuji F31fd stlls camera on highest video setting. It plays back from the camera at full screen, much better than on photobucket, but I reckon it's not bad. The road is from Knowle Green towards Waddington near Clitheroe. I had just put a new tyre on so was taking it easy, hence the relatively slow speed.

I would love to get a bullet cam, but can't afford one, so the £25 for the mount with an existing camera seems like a good result. The 2GB card records for just under 30 minutes.

Where did you get the mount? I've got one for my veypor but it only really fits to the yoke properly, not too good. Never occurred to be I could get a camera mount for it!

You can get it all from Ram mount UK (http://www.ram-mount-uk.com/) as I was looking at them, £22.99.

You didn't need to tell me where you were, Pendle hill on the horizon to the left gave the game away.

Besides which, Itoday. BTW I am also at home tomorrow if you feel the need to play out.

Besides which, I was on that very road yesterday. BTW I am also at home tomorrow if you feel the need to play out.

Nice vid Pete :thumbsup: That mount looks a bit more secure than the one Stretchie had a couple of weekends ago.

Tim - I spoke to Pete earlier and he's meeting me at my place in Standish tomorrow for a run out, care to join us? I'll PM you my mobile number, give me a ring in the morning if you fancy it. I think Pete said we were going up Ribchester way. :D The two of you will spend half your time in looking in your mirrors waiting for me to catch up though! :roll: :lol:

Well I got the Go!Cam for my PSP, added a cheap car mount (suction cup for windscreen=suction cup for tank :)

Heres the results, clips of my trip to work this morning, 1st bit is the twisties and the second my favourite corner in London :)

A bit bouncy/juddery, but I have some ideas on that, but not bad for £50 (already had the PSP)

So El Saxo, Timwilky and I went out for a bit of a hoon today. Similar, oh ok, exactly the same route as yesterday, but when the sun is shining and the roads are empty, why the heck not!
This is the lane I mentioned to Timwilky as a possible for the AR07 bunch as an evening trip. From the site to Long Preston on the A65, right to Slaidburn for tea and carrott cake at the cafe by the river (very picturesque) up this lane to Bentham, right again to the A65 and back. I reckon on about 45 mins to an hour for the circuit.

Plus, for your delight and delectation, here we are, the three amigos, AKA, Larry, Curly and Moe! (yes I know, mixing my metaphores)

Nice vids BluePete. The lane is a bit scary, sheep on the road!

How do you attache the ram mount to your bike though? Suction cups?
