Just got back from the TT (first time):smt040

Thoroughly enjoyed the week. Superb weather (after Sunday) and great racing. Those guys truly have b***s of steel to average up to 130mph over that course.

Bit hairy going over the mountain on the SV at 100 plus, while litre sportsbikes whizz past you with about a foot clearance like your stopped !!.

Very sad that the last lap of the last race produces a tragedy that marred an otherwise amazing week.

The other thing was my mate got nabbed for speeding - decided to "open 'er up" and overtake a van just before the end of a 30 limit and got nabbed for 56mph by a hairdryer wielding copper. Fair enough really. Good side - IOM points don't count on your UK license :) . Bad side - Cost him £264 fine :smt119 . IOM Police benevolent fund must be the best in the world!!
