I'm watching the F1...
JAMES ALLEN SHUT THE F*CK UP YOU IDIOT.
I'm fedup with listening to the inane babbling drivel that this pillock comes out with.
Why can't the let Martin Brundle do all the commentating.
Come back Muddly Talker.

Amen to that.
I think Martin Brundle is just as tedious though (when he can get a word in edgeways) - he always seems to get his 'when I was racing...' anecdotes in at every opportunity. <yawn>
Why can't they find a couple of commentators that are as excitable and passionate as the bike commentators on Eurosport (both the MotoGP and WSB)?

I like Brundle, He plays the James Hunt role very well I think.
Its Allen I can't stand, he doesnt know what he's talking about, he doesnt follow the track action, earlier he thought that one driver was in third when they werent and had been passed and dropped to fourth. Even I worked that out and the overtake happened during an add break, yet it took Allen nearly a lap to realise what had happened.

Got away with just a broken leg! Lucky Man!
The ITV commentary team are one of the reasons I gave up watching F1 a couple of years ago, too many misidentifications, missing action that is right there on screen, and occasional jingoistic commentating just made me switch off. It was either that or destroy my TV in anger.
Occasionally flick passed the F1 now, but can't bring myself to watch more than a few laps at a time.
The Eurosport commentators (WSB and MotoGP) show how it should be done, enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and if they do make a mistake, they apologise (and usually get a slagging off from the other commentator too :) )
I know what you mean, James Allen really is a tosser.
I have the same problem with Charlie Cox on the BBC for MotoGP, so I watch it on Eurosport. Which is a shame really cos Parrish is really good as is Suzy Perry (and shes lovely too)

its bad enough that F1 is still nothing much more than a proccesion after the first couple of bends, barring any crashes. Then we have annoying commentators to top it off. No wonder i dont watch it anymore.
And i agree wiht the above re BBC's coverage of MotoGP but the ads on Eurosport got on my nerves today so i watched it all on BBC and the commentators were actualy pretty ok today. Maybe cos it was such good racing they didnt really have much time to waffle about anything else.
Must admit that i did change over to Eurosport as soon as the race ended tho... for a quick drool over suzy perry 8)
