Why does that not surprise me, you two are seriously the fastest rider/pillion combo I have ever been riding with, you're bordering on mental:p
That exhaust is awesome though, gonna have to get some of them on mine I think.

Larry is our secret weapon...................people are so busy laughing at him they can't ride fast, and we can make a run for it:D
hey draper were from walsall and i work in wolves, maybe get a ride out when all this rain stops:)
Yeah kwak sure thing, i'll get a bit more riding under me belt for a couple weeks, then i'll be up for a good ride out (you'll have to be on noob alert though :help:)

First, thanks all for a good day out (sorry haven't posted before). The road coming out of Matlock Bath & the one away from Cat n Fiddle are probably the best two roads of the trip. The road out of Matlock for the high speed twisties (yes, I said to Tomcat "I feel like taking the next leg easy" but I ended up being the second bike, so it would of been rude to sit back!!). The run from Cat n Fiddle more a technical twisty road, which is always good.
I agree with Steve's comments though, the roads were nothing in comparison to Wales :D. So open offer for the MIGTs lot to come have a jolly around Wales sometime. I'll sort something out about that.
Thanks again for a good day. :D I think I probably had the best end to the day, and I WISH I'd had the camera running on my helmet for it, but alas, didn't. On the run along the A5, leaving Llyn Ogwen going downhill to Bangor I had a "race" with a Sea-King helicopter :D :D :D I say "race" because a helicopter is always going to win due to the whole "sky has no corners" thing. Gave them a good run for their money though :D Got a little wiggle/wave as they passed over Bethesda too. VERY IMPRESSIVE end to a 16hour day!
guess I'm the first back. Bikes cleaned off, and I'm in some non-sweaty jeans.
No supprise that you're the first home. You could of said goodbye before you left :p First I knew was when your other half pulled infront of us at lights, pointed, waved, and indicated. Manners next time please! :p
Still giggling about our jet-ski moment though:mrgreen:
Still don't understand why so many people slowed down so much for that "lake" we rode through...
got home to discover the horn hanging by the wires & the scotty empty doh.
We were saying on the day about people thinking scottoilers are magically filled with oil!! About the horn, twin Stebel Magnums, you know you want to!

I must be used to Larry (careful now!) as I just get held up by traffic a little, but then quickly catch up. Only "moment" I had on the whole day was doing 3 figures to catch you two up & then seeing in the distance a car turning left into a side road. BRAKES!!:)
My moment was a my enthusiastic overtake into a corner on the cat, got a bit excited, but pulled it off with the good old 'your committed now so bank it over' routine!
Forgot about our early depart, sorry for the bad manners, was a spur of moment decision .... so 'see ya every body had a great time, nice to meet you
' *hands shakes allround*
There happy now baph!
:o
