How do you do it?

I see people post up links to sites with it just saying "here"

Highlight the text you want to change, then click the hyperlinky button (globe with a chain link) :)

Check out the "your cv" thread. Someone in there is a painter, and can probably advise you how to do it yourself on the cheap. If you can get colour matched paint, and you know what you're doing, it shouldn't be that expensive.

Talk to SoulKiss as well, he's thinking of making "clothes" for his bike... different colour fairing sets to remove/put back on the bike depending on his mood. He's also in the middle of respraying his rear panels, so might have some tips on keeping her indoors happy with cost reductions.

Be less paint to respray the tank/seat unit & mudguard white wouldn't it? That then gives you the added option of wearing a dayglo jacket and spooking drivers :D (though obviously not in any kind of "impersonating a police officer" manner, your honour)

After the wifes hammer attack on the fairing on Friday, am going to rub down and spray that silver to match the rest of the bike. The daughter wants to try out her skills at Air brushing but insists i paint the bike yellow first, Looks like Im going to be joining the Hovis club :ncool:

Now, if she genuinely wanted to be artistic, not turn bikes into banana's, then I'd be tempted to let her have free reign (after consultation with me) on my bike.

I'm up for a unique paint job, just I don't want to pay for it :D

Ah, that could be a problem. I'd need mine to be off the road for around a week max. Commuter tool, see.
