Very nice choice Mr.Underpants. You just having to get a change exhaust for it. Them sounding like Ferrari with nice after market exhaust on .;)
Hopefully he's out enjoying it now. Dropped him off at the shop so he could part with the cash.
Someone remind me NEVER to go to bike shops again!! Didn't actually buy anything, but that's only because Justin was taking the **** with his offer on part-ex for the SV. Otherwise I'd of probably ridden away a GSXR-750 they had.
Anyway, his new machine:

Right, time to wander down to Pen-y-pass for a play before tea. :D

Had to go to the outlaws in Llanrwst to arrange dog sitting for the weekend. So A470, then A5, then B5105 (ohh baby!) home. Only 50 miles. She will be soooo fast when run in. she's only got 300 miles in her.
Thanks for the piccy, I even got one of them funky number plates! :p Will post more tomorrow.

I know, an RC45 is my dream bike too.

No he has too much hair and is much uglier than me. :geek:

Thanks TC. Missed out on two belting blue ones. One in Norwich(sold) and one at dealer with Leo Vince cans. so the silver is a bit 2nd choice, but it looks nice and bike was a bargain (relatively!).
nice one mate, good choice.
I'm happy!!

sorry, it's a Honda VFR 800-VTEC A5 ABS.
i.e. a 2005 model VFR with the ABS option. V4 engine, funky VTEC valves for more top end power and fatter midrange.
Cool machine M8, see ya this weekend.

No worries about the lift, but man you fidget on the back of the bike :p Apologies about nearly dropping it at low speed though  Still not quite used to pillions. Didn't like the PR2s with the weight on the back end either, but more on that later.
I actually passed you when you were parked up in Llanrwst. After I left my dad's I went down the A470 to attack Pen-y-pass on the way home with my video recorder, so your bike probably got video'd too.
If you heard someone giving the bike some stick around 6:15pm in Llanrwst, that'd be me. Figured I'd let you know I was there. :D
EDIT: Post order is a known problem, and is a WIP.

No worries about the lift, but man you fidget on the back of the bike :p Apologies about nearly dropping it at low speed though  Explained why I was fidgeting! My bad ankle would not bend enough to put foot square on the peg and kept sliding off, so the fidget was to get it back on the peg!
I'll take your word you nearly dropped it, I didn't think that.

That bike is in serious need of a Laser exhaust system... Those V4's sound the muts when unleashed...
Very nice machine, I keep thinking that a VFR may be my next bike as it has most of what I want, and will cater for my poor old back. I was just about to buy one when I spied my 'Blade in the showroom and my heart won over my head. Not that I've ever regretted it....
I'm looking forward to seeing it on Saturday

Yeah missed out on one with Leo Vince pipes on. It did sound good. New pipes when the wallet recovers.
Just a little info for Luckypants really:
From a little look around (bike trader), the offer for the SV was actually pretty reasonable it seems. I've seen a similar milage K5 for £2595, bikes with half the milage only get an extra hundred or so, and Justin offered me £2500.
Still, I'm not throwing the SV + £1100 at that GSXR. The can would need changing, and the blue screen didn't look right on the black & silver GSXR.
Would of been good to turn up to the AR on a GSXR. Time to talk to the bank manager about a spare toy...:help:

They are a bit spesh them, nice ride
Is it me or does it look like its trying to eat it own front wheel, its those point indicators. Remind me of teeth.
Has to be said, they are great rides
mmmmm ..... Honda!
It looks really lovely ..... look forward to hopefully seeing it in the flesh. Am glad you are sorted with the bike, there is always an upside to everything ..... sometimes you just need to look hard for it ;)
I could fancy that bike ..... is it very much taller then the sv?

Ha! an excuse to go out to the garage and sit on me new steed! :D
Seat seems about same height as curvey, 32in inside leg and feet are comfortably flat on the floor with knees slightly flexed.
Won't be any where near as fast as your CBR, less power and heavier.

Very handsome, mascaline looking bike all the same. I had a great day on the cbr on saturday ... managed to pick up some brommies, lost in matlock, who didnt know the area or where they wanted to go! i was just having a spin on my own so I offered to show them our wonderful roads around here ...... they loved it!
The cbr stood its ground amongst gsxr 1000, r1, 1200 bandit, I was very pleased. Obviously I had the upper hand because I know the roads, so it was an even playing field ;)
It is a little tall for me, stalled it (after turning down the idle speed, serves me right for trying to be clever!) turning right out of a naughty junction ..... fair sh*t myself when my feet werent nicely planted on the ground! Held it together, but left me a little shaken!

New bike TC, don't sweat it. You will get used to it and it's differences to the SV. I'll be taking it easy for a few weeks yet.
