the big orange thing in the sky went behind the black cloud here in the midlands.

My Sidi Black Rain boots are perfect (but not exactly cheap). Boots before that were too, but can't remember what they were. Anything with a Gore-tex liner will be waterproof.

That black cloud is here too, and it's falling out of the sky!!

A while ago i had some Akito ones that were cheap and 100% waterproof.

Once again it seems its better to be a southener with the sun shining reasonably, sporadically hiding behind clouds :)

Fingers crossed for some decent weather over the next few weeks. I've got xpd x-land h2out boots but haven't had the opportunity to get them wet yet, anybody else tried these?

Altberg boots. Not cheap, but not pricey for what they are (hand made and if neccessary, made to measure), 100% waterproof, even when you ride through streams. Comfy as slippers, you can walk (even hike) in them, they last forever and crash a lot better than you'd think too.
