which one do you think I'll like the most?

GSXR600 - 5500 miles blue and white, yoshi can and crash bungs, with original can

or

CBR600F sport - 5000 miles red and black with Akrapovic can.

Having observed your riding style from as close a distance as I was capable of maintaining between Biggar and Newhouse, I'd say the Gixxer for sure...

Couple of the guys from work had both bikes, when i had the SV.. Gixxer felt almost the same position for the gear/ rear brake. CBR felt wierd when i first had a bash, nothing moved the same/diff positions etc, could not get comfy on it.
Both were a hoot to ride though.. big grin when passing 10k revs :D

One o the guys has now bought an R1... now thats a toy to go get a shot of :smt103 It's enought to make my 748 feel slow :(

no, no hold on I meant SPRINT!

I've ridden both. Everybody's saying the gixer but unless I'm mistaken the cbr600 sport is basically the first 600rr - this is what was replaced by the 600rr replaced anyway. I rode the f sport and it was very hard suspension. Probably would suit someone tall and heavier like me. The gixer I found too small.

Gixxer, but I'd prefer the 750. Why do you only have the choice of two bikes?

9-1 so far! Of course, you may want to run this poll on a Honda forum too...

But that would only give him a biased report from Honda owners

well I have the cbr600f... and to suggest it won't be enough for you is simply wrong ;) ;) ( unless you wanna do more then 150 presumably on a track!)

If you want to do an hours blast on a sunny sunday afternoon then the gixxer fine ..... but if you want to clock up mileage in reasonable comfort I would consider the cbr.

There you go ..... shoot me!!

Just a thought ... the cbr became fuel injected around 02, so check which model it is, if not fuel injected you may want to think on

the carb ones are very smooth ,,some of the (early)fi bikes are known to b a bit snatchy off the gas ,,but a good carb model is much the same feeling as a good fi model.anytime iv heard about snatchyness its always been on a fi bike ,,i dont think fi is any btr than carbs ,just more modern ,,its all about emissions /efficiency and stuff like that:cool:

It's not...you had to be there at the Borders rideout...Dean was looking for a 6r and had one whipped from his grasp.

I did have a GSXR 600 K4 (blue and white  ) before some **** decided to forcefully remove me from it ( a few weeks ago) and i have to say it was blinding! corners straights it did it all, but the handling was where it was at, it could carry far more corner speed than i was prepared to throw at it (bottle dependant :smt080 ) and it would just grip and grip. An excellent bike cant recommend it enough and pending insurance (if they ever sort/right off my bike/give me cash! etc) then i will be buying another one as soon as i can! :D
